












Access Blue Centurions Joined UCSAA
Posted by: Jade Basical | 2011-12-05 01:53:20ACCESS Computer College joined the inaugural and the opening of the 1st season of basketball tournament of the University, Colleges and Schools Athletic Association (UCSAA) at Makati Coliseum last August 19, 2011. The UCSAA is the newly organized sports organization headed by Mr. Nestor V. Dela Cruz (UCSAA President – St. Dominic Savio College) and hosted by St. Dominic Savio College for this season. The member schools and colleges of the said organization are St. Dominic Savio College, Dela Salle Araneta University, Pasig Catholic College, and our very own ACCESS Computer College headed by Mr. Arwin Adina as the coach. The organization’s objectives are based on the core values of integrity, respect, discipline, loyalty and excellence.
The event started at exactly 10:00am; the entrance of the players, introduction of the guest; Mr. William Antonio – PBA player (Powerade Team), lightning of torch, raising of school flags, and introduction of team muses. Ms. Jan Brenda Orlanda, a BS Tourism Management student was our ACCESS Blue Centurions’ muse and was awarded as Best in Formal Attire.
The basketball tournament last for 2 months. At the end of the tournament last October 19, 2011, ACCESS Centurions ranked as 2nd Placer. UCSAA sports include volleyball, table tennis, badminton, chess, and taekwondo and on the next season the performing arts and cheer dance competition will be opened.
