FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES NC II

The qualification consists of competencies that must be achieved to provide food and beverage service to guests in various food and beverage service facilities.

TRAINING HOURS: 18 Hours (Basic) + 18 Hours (Common) + 380 Hours (Core) = 416 Hours (Total)




Basic Competencies

  • Participate in workplace communication
  • Work in team environment
  • Practice career professionalism
  • Practice occupational health and safety procedures

Common Competencies

  • Develop and update industry knowledge
  • Observe workplace hygiene procedures
  • Perform computer operations
  • Perform workplace and safety practices
  • Provide effective customer service

Core Competencies

  • Prepare the dining room/restaurant area for service
  • Welcome guests and take food and beverage orders
  • Promote food and beverage products
  • Provide food and beverage services to guests
  • Provide room service
  • Receive and handle guest concerns

REQUIREMENTS

Kindly prepare the listed requirements in both hard and soft formats for submission to our Training and Assessment Centers.


  • Two 1x1 photos (white background)
  • Two passport-sized photos (with name tag, collar, and white background)
  • Photocopy of PSA-issued birth certificate
  • Photocopy of any valid government-issued ID
  • Photocopy of Transcript Of Records / Form 138 / Form 137
  • ⁠If applicable: Photocopy of marriage contract
